It was a beautiful day in Southern Illinois! Under clear skies, it was close to 60º when the shoot began and gradually warmed to 74º by the time the event ended. We did have some windy conditions most of the day but other than that, it was perfect fall weather.

A nice crowd was on that included folks from several different states as well as many local shooters and spectators. Larry and John, the operators of the Rend Lake Shooting Complex had the area well prepared with gun racks, benches and tables for our use. Thanks.

Fourteen members of the Jackson County Wild Turkeys chapter ran targets, judged the line, handed out shells, scored targets and did everything necessary to make the shoot progress smoothly. The event was sponsored by Advanced Technology International (ATI), EvoShield, TRUGLO, Hevi-Shot, Jackson County Wild Turkeys, Rend Lake Shooting Complex and allaboutshooting.com

Well done.  Congrats to you and your bride.
I love golf.  It keeps a lot of people out of the turkey woods.

Clark,

I don't get on here as much anymore, but I seen this and I wanted to log in and tell you and Doris congratulations.  That is some mighty fine shooting guns you have to win with.  You both should be very proud and you both represented the Heartland area of the US very well indeed.

Hey Brad,

Thank you very much. We were also competing with the Hunting & Fishing Days at JALC College, just 20 minutes or so away. They had 46,000 people there and all the t.v. stations and other media were pretty busy there.

Thanks again,
Clark
