Man that's a bummer. You should use it as a decoy now. Lol.

guesswho

I'd put it back in the garage tonight with a game-cam set on video pointed at it.  Might be pretty entertaining.
If I'm not back in five minutes, wait longer!

I agree. If you sell it, it will probably be bought as a decoy anyhow. Is there any way that you can remove some of the loose feathers and just put a new fan on him? I think it would still probably be a nice mount.

I hate it for you that it had such sentimental value.  You mentioned leaving the door open for the cat to get in. That would be your culprit, IMO.

lol thats what im thinking!

GobbleNut

It's hard to tell from the pictures, but I would guess that you could fix most of the problem yourself just by repositioning the tail fan and moving the feathers back into place on the rest of the body.  Certainly, a taxidermist could repair it for you fairly easily.

Fatbeard

Your Taxedermist should be able to fix it! With all the centimental value it maybe worth fixing

You need to call the Turtle Man.  Live Action!!!

From the pictures, that definitely looks like your taxi should be able to fix it.

Turkey Trot

How does the mount of the cat that destroyed the turkey look?  ;D ;D
