This is a piece of an un-named African wood I bought from a guy locally. He had worked at a hardwood seller in the Springfield, MO area and brought a bunch of wood with him when he moved to Arkansas. He wasn't sure of the name of this wood, but I liked the curl pattern and the sapwood contrast. All I know is that it makes a great sounding anodized aluminum call and pairs well with the Bear Country colored dymondwood striker. The call has a nice medium-high pitch and produces some good volume. The yelps break consistently with some good rasp on the back end. This one is $66 shipped via USPS priority mail (no insurance or tracking number) or $74 shipped Fed Ex (with insurance and tracking number). PM me if interested. I can send a paypal invoice for payment.
