Walnut Burl Scratchbox..(Thanks Pappy)!!!

This scratcher is made of Walnut Burl that Pappy gave me...I wanted to make a little more fancy scratcher and Pappy sent me some stuff to try...it has a Maple soundboard..I LOVE THIS CALL!  it has soft purrs and clucks, and also can get nasty raspy....Thanks for your generosity Pappy!!!

P.S. Hey Pappy I have no idea what wood that striker is but It works great!!!

Tim, you sure put that burl to good use....that striker looks to be made from a piece of stabilized / dyed box elder pen blank I sent ya. Thought it would make for a nice one as the resin should act as a super grip for excellent friction....

Tim, That call is really great looking and from what I heard it sounds outstanding.  May have to hold on to that call for next February.  Put a ribbon on it friend!
