That is cool. I've only seen one wild bird with white on it. Years ago driving to a lease during deer season I saw a flock of hens in a hay field near Waynesboro, MS.

I've seen a bunch of those... in platic crates on the back of a semi.   ;D  Makes you wonder where the genetics came from.  I saw a bird in OK with almost white feather tips... looked like a merriams.  I spoke with a guy at their DNR and he tried to tell me it was probably crossed with a domestic bird.  I'm no geneticist, but found it hard to believe that just the feather tips would be white with the rest of the bird looking like a wild turkey.

Interesting.
Lights Out custom calls - what they're dying to hear!

Tail Feathers

That's a real trophy.
Welcome to OG! :wagon:
Love to hunt the King of Spring!

Eric Gregg

What is going to be interesting is to see how many of his offspring are going to have a lot of white on them.
Good thing you got that one out of the flock!

Spring Creek Calls

That black beard sure sticks out against those white feathers. Congrats!

WOW he is white. Congrats on such a beautiful bird.

Northerner

Beautiful bird, congrats!  I found a few grey colour birds last fall hoping to harvest one this spring but they disappeared.  Not sure if they were easy pickens for the yotes or their genes didn't help them through the winter.

Congrats again. :you_rock:

strutstopper

Congrats, a buddy of mine had two just like that one come into his calling this past spring, only one left though.
