I hate that anyone had to drown, but If he was going to drown, I wish it had been in the gene pool.

He was reportedly drinking heavily and smoking marijuana the evening prior to his drowning.  Sounds like he changed his motto to "Can't we all just get a bong?"

That Rodney were no genius.  He squandered most of his fortune running a rap record label and fast wimmen.  He smoked and drank the rest of it.
