Kids Outdoor Day

Had a great turnout at the kids day today. We shot bow and arrows, BB guns, casted fishing poles and rowed a canoe. Then we had a BBQ with alot of food. The kids had fun. My son Joey said he was rethinking about having kids. He's getting married in Sept. Lol It was great to see kids who had never shot a bow or BB gun or even casted a fishing pole having alot of fun doing those things. Here is a few pics.

This little guy WON the bow shoot. He had never shot a bow before and put 2 bulls eyes out of 5 arrows.

I think it should be mandatory that kids have to take an outdoor class in school where they teach things like what y'all did today.   The way this country is heading those skills might come in handy!

That is great stuff, Joe. Not only did you raise a great family, you take every opportunity to help influence other kids positively. As you know, seing their eyes light up, makes it worthwhile. Kudos, brother!

I have to say the best line of the day came from the little girl in the Park view panthers t-shirt. About the third time thru shooting she says " This is alot harder than the Wii". I died laughing.

The boat was docked. He was just setting in it acting like he was rowing. They all had life jackets when they were in the boat on the water.
