Uploading long YouTube videos

I have a long video, 1 hr or so and uploaded it and now it is saying it is too long.

I went through the account verification process to get this restriction lifted, but hasn't yet worked.

Anyone tell me how long this verification takes?
Do I have to upload the video again?
