Well, this one had a higher "calling".    The ebay crowd didn't bite, so it has been donated to an auction for a Wounded Warriors hunt.  This hunt is put on by Peterson Outdoor Ministries out of Webb City, MO.  You can check out their website at:

I have a feeling you are right about that... 

I'm sticking with the same design idea, but possibly different fill materials.  I plan on turning the pot this weekend.

What do you think of this to use as fill on the "C"?



7 hours left on the ebay auction for the piece...  I'm hoping it works out.  I would have it laser cut by the guy doing the back of the call.  Looking at a different fill material for the track as well...

Wendell, I bought the one that had the slight chip in the hole, that you had on E-bay at the same time as the Hanging Barn call and the one you are saying is Butt Ugly. I love the call and mine is the andonized aluminum one that looks just like this one. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and to me she is beautiful and sounds even better.

My opinion but I think the call has a interesting look about it ... The Hot Pink call blinded me though !!!! Jus kidding Wendell . Honestly I love the idea of the pink or purple calls , especially since it'll get two more kids interested in the outdoors man. Great job as usual !

This is a curly maple slate call that I built this weekend and listed on ebay tonight.  The dye is a custom mix of 3 different colors.  The sides of the call appear almost black.  I may work on another mix with a bit less black... what ya' think?

I absolutely LOVE that call!!! Classy, great color selection and beautiful finish! Couldn't be better!
