I have my turkey cape, wings and tail pinned to a board and Borax'd. how long should I let it cure, it has been curing for 7 weeks now.

If you had it all cleaned good. It should be done.

Thanks, was thinking it should be done but wanted a second opinion before I went to the trouble of pulling out all those pins

If you start taking the pins out and the tail starts closing, it's not dry enough. You don't want the fan or feathers to close. If it's hard as a rock and don't move , your good to go.

It "should" have been dry in 3-4 weeks (wings)...the cape and fan usually are dry within a week.....I inject caulk into the wings to make them super strong once dry and that adds a few weeks. If nothing was used then a couple of weeks should have done it.
