The baffled calls have more back pressure built into them because of the baffle and some guys think they are a little easier to blow. The baffled calls tend to be a little quieter as well. The un-baffled calls in contrast to the baffled are louder and in my opinion are no harder to blow than a baffled call. I step bore mine so they have just a little more back pressure than a straight through bored call.
