Shot a bearded hen yesterday in IL. She had a hard time walking and it took her 45 min. to go 20 yrd. When she was 10 yrd. away I saw a beard and shot her. While tagging her I saw one of her toes was black and almost cut off. Maybe a deer hunter in a treestand last fall thought they could fill a tag.
