Gracie Purdum is a 7 year old who was diagnosed
with cancer, she travels too and from St. Judes from
Ohio twice a month
for Chemo and other treatments.
the tumor in Gracie's head is laying on a part of her Brain.
she went from being a normal 7 year old girl running and playing
to being depended on a wheelchair.

i was very lucky to be excepted as a staff shooter
for Athens Bow Company.
this is where i found out about Gracie.
Athens and staff came up with a idea
to hold a on line Auction to help Gracie and her family.
I Contacted Flintlock (Wess) and out of the goodness of his heart
he has donated some of his prints.
this is a great opportunity not only to help this
little girl and her family but to pick up some great hunting supplies
or a once in a lifetime hunt.
Gracie would
love to shoot a bow.

Athens is in the process of building her a special
bow that will mount to her wheelchair.

here is a link to the equipment and hunts that were donated by Athens Partners and Staff :

I know not everyone will be able to help financially
but if you could just keep Gracie Purdum in your thoughts
and prayers it would awesome.

Please this is not a scam. this is the life of a very dear little girl.

Thank you all. Shawn

VA,

Being a father of five it tears me up to hear stories like this of such young kids having to deal with such monmentous trials. I could not imagine the turmoil the parents are going through. There is a similar story of another little girl about the same age that another forum has been helping out for a few months now. The sportsmans comunity sure knows how to take care of their own and pull together for the greater good.

I went to the link to check out the auction items but don't see anything. Do you need to register to be able to see the full thread and view the items up for auction?

VAHUNTER

i'm not 100%sure. but if so it only takes a minute. there are some incredable items up for auction!!! and i can not think of a better cause.

guys there are items getting added to the auction several times a day!!
this is a great way to help Gracie as well as finding something that you could really use.
the auction will be closing in a couple weeks. so please stop by and show your support
for this sweet little girl. i know money is tight but prayers will not cost you a dime.
Gracie needs a miracle right now.i truely believe that God can touch this little girl through our prayers.

The Auction turned out to be a great success.
Although the auction has helped with the cost of Gracies treatments
and has taken some of the finacial burdens off of her family.
Gracie still needs you to keep her in your prayers. she has a very long
and painful journey ahead.
A Special Thank you to Shannon and Annie for making this a stickey!!
also i want to thank those OG members that donated items and took
iunterest in the auction. God Bless, Shawn
