Late day hunting

My turkey tag's hours are  5:55 am to 8:35 PM  :-* early morning is the usual, I know where the birds roost (on a neighbors pond about 75 yards off my lease). My question is how do I hunt birds coming back to the roost? Do I call? Use decoys, or just sit and wait?
I usually hunt early to about 2 or 3pm, then lunch and hunt from 4 till lights out.
Thanks in advance

Some days I hunt them like deer, sitting near a feeding area calling every 10 minutes or so with dekes out. Other days I cover lots of ground looking for a hot bird. Which ever way I try to end up as close as I can to where I think they are roosting and try to bust him looking for the last hen of the day.

I used to think hunting in the evening was a waste of time. The first time o tried it, a buddy and I setup on the edge of a field next to a roosting area. I simply called softly every few minutes, after about 15 minutes and three calling sequences, we had a pair of Toms come running in and my buddy shot the biggest ones head OFF at 10 feet.

Made a believer out of me, especially of you know where birds are hanging out late in the day.
