Quote from: sself on April 25, 2012, 06:02:32 PMWhen will it end! Our Northeast KS land can not handle any more pressure. The hunting pressure this year has been horrible, and 90% of the hunters are out of staters that have no respect for the locals. All three of my usual public areas are over run with out of staters, who've "been here all week". I sure hope the Kansas fad ends soon.

Anything within an hour and a half of KC is over run. Even on weekdays. Being a full time college student with a full time job doesn't leave me enough time to scout any farther from the city than that. Used to only run into hunters on opening weekend. Now I can't go out, even during the week, without having to deal with the out of state armies. Just a little heads up... leaving your decoys in a public field over night not does not secure you that spot in the morning. It's first come first serve. Maybe i'm still a little bitter after having an Arkie ruin my morning....
