preserving beards and legs

whats the best thing to put on beards and legs to preserve them? I've been using salt on the legs wonderd if there was something better

I use Borax on Tail fan, legs and beard.

Salt/borax are both fine...BUT unless you inject the legs with something like Masters Blend they will shrivel up within weeks. By injecting them they will stay nice and PLUMP.

..Not sure what this product is... Would I need to take the legs to a taxidermist for this?
