Some keepers and one we had to release

My brother joined me yesterday for a day of Redfish fishing.

We got four slot reds (between 15 and 23in).



This one was just over 27in long.  More than 4 inches over maximum size.  Weighed 8lbs on the Boga.  I had to release it unharmed.  It put up a tremendous battle.

Nice!I remember telling a buddy years back{he fished but mostly in a pond from the bank}that we may catch a fish too big to keep,he is still scratching his head.He never heard of a fish being too big to keep.I envy your bag limits there in La.
