My wife gave me the go ahead on buying a new turkey gun went to the local shop and looked at all the pumps and felt the 870 was the best out there season starts Monday I got some magblends and some h13 7s gonna pattern tomorrow I got a ellyhead 665 and the choke that comes in it does anyone have any idea what constriction the choke is and what I can expect

Jelly head 665 does well in mine ... 200's at 40, nice and even

A sore shoulder!  Sorry had to say it.  That will be a good setup, have a couple friends that ended up with that exact setup and it kills em dead.

If your sm came with the HD turkey/predator choke like mine, I thinks its .670 . I got great patterns out of the factory choke.

I have the exact same gun, I love it, the toms don't LOL.  I'm using a Indian Creek choke ,and Hevi 7.  Killer combo.

South Alabama

Ditto on the sore shoulder ... nitros are absolutely brutal ... invest in a lead sled before patterning

I don't mind the recoil on it at all without a doubt one of the best feeling guns ive ever had
