Redemption!!!!!!

Well after yesterday's miss, I got the job done this morning on a lonely old bird. I went out with a friend of mine who already has 2 longboards down. First time in my turkey hunting career I have let anyone else do the calling (ever) and it paid off! 8am I hit a crow call and old boy hammered back my buddy said he was gonna call, he dropped back 10yds 15 minutes later we were shaking hands while my foot was on ones head!!! 10 1/2 beard. 1 1/8 spurs. I had a friend call one in for me this year..it's a different experience. I enjoy the fellowship but also take pride in doing it myself. He has had health issues though and could use the assistance in getting in and out.

100% correct it is most definitely a different experience. I did enjoy the bunt but would much rather be the caller. Almost seems like cheating or something not real sure how to explain it. Lol that's ok next time we go he's on the gun and I'm on the slate!
