Well I walked into a local gun shop thinking I would just browse which is always a bad idea with me and I had to leave with another turkey gun. I've had my eyes open for an Sp-10 version but I got a decent deal on this ,so I guess the 12 came first. I grabbed a Jelly head choke while I was there and now need to get it patterned.

Those guns have the least recoil of any shotgun made...I killed 20 turkeys with one just like it....it was never all that great on paper, but it sure seemed to wind up pointed at a gobbler head quite often...I shoulda kept it.

Nice gun!
The addiction will cost you time and money and alienate those close to you. I can give you the names of a dozen addicts — myself included — whose wives begin to get their hackles up a week before turkey season starts and stay mad until a week after it closes.

I love the old mossy oak pattern guns, but anyone remember the realtree xtra version? It came out right after the greeanleaf and I always thought that pattern looked great on a shotgun as well. I'd love to find and 870 in either greenleaf or realtree extra
