...Another One Bites the Dust...

...Today was the season opener in NC, and I was fortunate enough to kill a nice sized gobbler on my club land in Vance County this morning at 7:30am.

..18.83 lbs., 1 3/16" spurs, 10 3/4" beard.

...One of my homemade calls got his attention on the roost, and eventually brought him to the gun.

...Hope everyone has an exciting and successful spring season!

...Thanks Trapper.. The sky was blue and that bird was just glowing in the sun light!... I may just do that.
