 Which do most of you guys hunt, private or public land? This will be my 32yr turkey hunting (as for as calling and doing it right). The first 12 was 100% private,The past 20yrs have been 90% public. It's definitely two, total differet types of hunting and birds and I've enjoyed and loved both. But to me there's that added rush when I bag a bird that a pile of people are trying to get before I do.

I have close to 2400 acres of private land to hunt, but sometimes I'll hunt public.

Mostly private. When I can keep people from sneekin in, I guess 60/40.

I hunt on mostly private ground but we have a lot of public land here in NE Missouri. There's actually an entry to a piece of public land about a 1/2 mile down my road. I like to hunt there sometimes, especially if I don't have much time in the morning. I prefer hunting the private ground though.

FLA.-All public.   Ga. mostly private  NH and Vt.  You can hunt anywhere that's not posted so it's almost all public.  Ky-private

Last year I was 100% on state ground in GA.  This year, I think I will be 30% public and 70% private ground.  It just all depends on things how much time I'll spend at each place.
