mouth call help

I have a had time finding a call that fits. I have a narrow pallet and some calls the horse shoe is almost as wide as my teeth. The sm frame QB are ok. I have a premos sm frame that I love but isn't only a double and I don't think thay make any other sm frame. I can't be the only one so how have others work with this problem?

If you have a small frame call that already fits you well, then get the type of call you want and trim the tape using your small frame call as a template.  You can buy any call that you are interested in and trim the tape as well.  Just take a pair of scissors and trim a little of the tape off at a time until it fits you.  Once you get one you are comfortable and happy with, then use it for a template for future calls.

Actually Primos does make the mini sonic dome in triple.  Also a triple with bat cut. Here is their link but you can probably find it cheaper....

maybe some junior framed Hooks calls from Hooks Custom Calls.. if you call Scott and explain your issue he might be able to work up something to fit your mouth better

there calls have a much small tape to begin with than most

I was having problems do to wearing dentures so I tryed not only the sonic dome but also a three pack of the Quaker Boy Mini Mags. The Mini Mags are desighned with the smaller pallet in mind. They all solved my problem.

Check out Gooserbat calls, I just ordered several from him to try and the calls cut with smaller tape.  Out of the calls I ordered I really like a call he calls the Hillbilly

I too have a narrow pallet and trimming tape does not help. The only calls I can run are the narrow, often referred to as youth, framed calls.

I have tried all the commercial manufactured calls and have found that I can stand them. About four years ago I spoke with Tommy Walton of Tom Teaser calls and he hooked me up with his narrow frame call. It was love at first try.

Mr. Walton makes his entire call line up in the small frame calls so you have a wide variety to choose from. I will one day, soon I hope, try Hooks small frame as well as talk Hounds Tooth into making small frame calls.

TRKYHTR, joe, makes awesome calls and great small frame calls.  It is all I use!!  He will hook you up, unfortunately he leaves tomorrow for a hunt in KS and Iowa.  I can send you a triple reed with a yellow bat wing cut if you would like to try one, I might have one of his Tominators as well.
