Haven't noticed, but its a good gun, so can't blame them.  I have two... a 12 and a 20.  Love them both.

I tried to get this one last month http://www.remington.com/products/firearms/shotguns/model-11-87/model-11-87-sportsman-super-mag-shurshot-turkey.aspx... no one has it.. local or online.  Rem recently had a rebate going... and with turkey season that makes them even harder to find right now I would guess. I decided to get just get the sure shot stock for my existing 3in 1187 ... added some nice sights and sling.. turned out nice. Glad I didn't fork over the $800 now...

the bottomland pattern of today isn't even close to the old school bottomland pattern
