The Big Swamp was full of life Saturday.

Hit the Big swamp. Heard at least 6 birds. They gobbled good for about 10 minutes off the limb and then went quiet. Only heard a couple shots and they sounded like misses. Plenty of birds left of the TT hunt.


The Owls were off the hook and so were the mosquitos. Saw some gators out and about. Some boys said they were catching some nice red breast.....Roosters.

I bet the skeeters were off the chain!! Lookin forward to the team hunt next week! I'm feelin better.....a kidney stone has been killin me for the past couple of days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope those birds will cooperate for us this week. I would love to give one of those swamp gobblers a dirt nap. Do I need to bring a fishing pole Del? Those bream are fine eating and might come in handy around dinner time one night.
