I just joined an almost 4000 acre place here in LA. A buddy of mine went to look at it this past Sunday and I saw too mush turkey sign not to join. It will definitly be good bird hunting. The ground only has 3 or 4 guys that turkey hunt and I don't think all of are die hards. It is an hour and 15 minutes from the house.
While we were looking at it, I jumped out the truck, hit my call and had a bird respond. We drove by a stud gobbler about 1/2 hour later. The price was right and couldn't pass it up. Going to hunt it next weekend some, but still have score to settle with my Mississippi birds.
