Turkey Trot

My mother in law lives close by (down the street) and she has been having some health issues. She's always been very active. She worked as a nurse until last summer when she had hip surgery, and this winter she had back surgery. She has always kept up with her own yard, trimming the bushes by hand and cutting the grass with her old push mower.

The problem is that now she's older (almost 70) and having so many health issues, it's hard for her to mow the lawn. I thought I should be a good son in law and do my part to help out. I don't think she should be out there by herself pushing that old mower around the yard all summer, so I'm thinking about getting her a new self-propelled mower.

Do you any of you have suggestions on model, price, features, etc.?

Sounds like you should mow the grass for her and let her take care of other yard work

I like your thinking! Mother in Laws most should be placed in the same class as coyotes. lol :character0029:

Remember without your Mother-in-Law, you would not have your wife. Treat her with all the respect you would treat your wife.

Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read.

With out my mother in law I would have had no wife... Think of the posibilities... She needs an obnoxious billy goat.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

I did not put "Humor" or "Joke" in the thread title to see how many would take it seriously.
