anyone experiment with SSX and Fed HW?

I shoot the ssx and hw 7's out of my 20ga and get 190's-200. Just curious if I could expect the same from the mighty 12. I am currently shooting the ssx and hevi 7's from my 12ga and getting 300 at a true 38-39 yards (butt at 40).

My 12ga set up is a Benelli M1 26" barrel and SSX. Like I said above, my current load for this gun is hevi 7's, was curious if I could do any better. Although my hevi 7's pattern ridiculously good from this set up (300+ at a true 38-39 yards).

I tried them out of my browning gold with a SSX and only got 142. But that was with the 3 1/2" 1 7/8 oz. 6's.

Im getting in the mid 140s average with my remington 870 20 ga with polished barrel and when  clean. That choke does not like to be dirty with the Feds out of my gun. Patterns drop in my gun down into the 80s when dirty. My 30 yard patterns were in the 230 range. Patterns are nice and even despite it being a very tight choke. You better not flinch if your putting up 180 to 200.

That choke LOVES the Hevi 13s out of my gun, clean or dirty....putting up 155 average at 40.

I know.......it might be a little too tight shooting the ssx and fed 7's. With hevi 7's I am getting around 150.

That's not bad, but you would expect more. I might try a box and see how they do out of my ssx. I know it will be hard to beat the hevi 7's. Even if I lose 50 shots in the 10 (go down to 250 or even 225) I would still go with them just because of the weight.
