I'm looking hard at buying an electric smoker. I want something I can fill up and not have to stay on top of for 8-12 hours to get good smoked meat that isn't overdone or over-smoked. A lot of the reviews I have read on the electric smokers talked about not getting enough smoke flavor, or having to buy special "bisquettes" to generate smoke.
Since I turn calls and strikers, as you can imagine, I have a lot of scrap wood chunks around. I wanted a way to use what I need to toss out, but can't bring myself to get rid of. I found this link in one review. If you like smoked meat, check it out. I had never heard of such a thing...
