SC Lowcountry Burnt Woods Gobblers

Buddy and I pulled the 1-2-Boom around 10:30 AM this morning in some woods that were burned just a few days ago. Worked serveral birds throughout the morning. Not much gobbling, a lot of henned up gobblers as expected right now. I told my buddy lets try a block that was burned this week just watch were you sit your . Some areas still had flames going. Got on these two and they strolled right in through the smokey haze. One of the coolest things I've ever seen. They didn't gobbled much but they strutted right on in to 20 yards. First bird my buddies killed in three years.

Congrats on the double. Very stinkin' cool!!
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?
