Anyone have a Polaris Ranger or Rhino? I am trying to choose between the two

I am thinking about taking the plunge and getting a side by side.  I have narrowed it down to the Polaris 500 EFI and the Yamaha Rhino.   It is really tough to find comparisons online about the two that are up to date.   Just wondering if anyone has any experience with either of these two?   I am going to use it obvously for hunting and I have about 4.5 acres of pasture  that I am going to need to cut grass so I want to have a pull behind lawnmower.  Any opinions advice?

Here's my take on our Polaris Ranger Crew cab.

Great work vehicle!!
For hunting, I wouldn't recommended it. It's so loud I can't talk to a passenger sitting next to me due to it being too loud.

It is a 700 though instead of the 500.
The motor is under the rear seat, and it's the whine and sound of the motor which is load.

Would I trade it in...........No way. It's great for work.

Just my thoughts on using it for hunting.

Thanks for the input BOFF,  This might sound like a stupid question but one of my main concerns is breaking going down hill with a mower behind me.  I know the Rhino has an engine break but do you think I would have any problems stopping with the Ranger?   I have a pretty steep hill to contend with up here in the mountains?

Well, with the factory clutch, and trail riding, the clutch will let loose going down a hill when you let off the accelerator. You kinda have to stay on the gas slightly if you want it to stay engaged.

However, the brakes on the ranger do well. Your gonna stop. The engine braking going down a hill would be good..
Not sure if Polaris has changed, as mine is a 2008 model.

i had the rhino first and heres my take. it is small and extremely maneuverable in the woods,bucket seats, and short wheelbased. traded mine on the ranger last year and heres that take. it is bigger,more powerful, less agile in woods, bench seat across, longer wheelbase for more stability on uneven ground, it is a work horse on the farm and in the big woods.  i liked them both but also like the bigger features of the polaris. if i had to choose between the polaris and yamaha it would be the polaris. if i had to choose between the rhino and a 4wheeler it would definitely be the 4wheeler. to each his own and they are both good platforms
