Yea there tracking system sucks but I was told I could not put insurance on the call because it was handmade and not from a store to put a price value on it. I guess its just my stupidity but I will not use usps again

You should be able to if you can make up an invoice that shows the materials and labor involved to arrive at a total price.  My family business hand makes items and uses the purchase price for claims.

You bet we do!! I deliver something from them every day. They also put return labels to send them back using USPS

hey mailman is there anyway I can find out were the package my be even if my stupidity forgot to get a tracking number. I called there number and they said give it 14 days and call back and file a claim but I was just wondering if there was any other option.

Thanks Mailman!!! To the OP hate to say it but if you did not get the tracking number at the time of transaction, you are out of luck. Hopefully your package will make it to it's destination.
