Burris speedbead question

is the optics on the speadbead just a fastfire2? i am considering buying a speadbead site from a buddy but the actual speedbead mount wont fit my gun.

My question is can i just take off the speedbead mount and get a FF2 weaver mount to use for it?

It depends on how old it is.  The original SpeedBead came with the original FastFire I.  You can take it off of the mount and use a pic mount or any other mount for that matter.
