Ordered a Indian Creek .665 for my Rem 870 21" and 28" bbl. (tru choke)The choke came in today and it is different than any of them i have seen.  It looks like the Black Diamond Strike, black on the outside, but the inside is silver and the tubing is silver that screws in to the barrel. I guess it is stainless. It is a Platinum Premier Series.  Does anyone have any experience or seen one of these and what loads would you recommend??

Ran allot of the Win loads through both barrels and Hevi loads as well. Patterns were terrible. The Hevi 3/2/6's out of the IC .665 didn't do as well as the Pb loads out of my kicks .655. I sure hope they have a good refund policy at Indian Creek..that was allot of money for nothing..

I would swap it out for a different diameter. Keep playing with different sizes until you find one that shoots.

Pretty surprised to hear that.  They do have a good refund policy so don't worry.  I have the Indian Creek Black Diamond in .650 for my 870.   It does great on either my 21" or 24" Rem barrels.  Give them one more chance to make it right.

Yea, i would be interested in getting another diameter but stuart was telling me that they only have .665 with the Tru Choke threads. Guess i will have to get a refund and try Pure Gold .670. PG is making some chokes in Tru Choke as well.

The Wright's Tru-Choke models have been pretty popular. They are made in .650, .660 and .670. They are not always available, limited production items but I usually have a few on hand.

I use a couple of the .650s in my Fox SxS with 3" Hevi-13 shells and they work very well.

Thanks,
Clark

Thanks Clark, i may order one as soon as i can confirm refund from Indian Creek.  Less expensive than going with the Pure Gold.

Indian Creek customer service was excellant even though the .665 didnt work in my tru-choke.  Stuart helped me out and i will definately use this company in the future.  Great product..just didnt work in either one of my barrels.
