I believe Jebs is a very well made good shooting choke.  They should be and again I will say that they are very proud of their choke for the asking price they want.  And again I will say there are other chokes out there that cost less that will more than likely do just as good or better.  I doubt that Jebs is selling a lot of chokes these days for that price when Indian Creek, Pure Gold, SumToy, Jelly Head, and Hevi-Shot chokes are being offered to the public at better prices that shoot about as good as anyone could hope for in a lot of gun barrels.  Case in point, how many members here have one?  And some that have said they weren't impressed and had other chokes mentioned above that did better.  

Go ask Goldhunter on here what his buddy thought of his Jebs choke?  He's already wanting a refund.  

Got that right brother! They have great looking craftsmanship but then again so do the other companies chokes, but the performance for the price cannot be justified.

It's also one thing to come here and discuss the numbers you shot with certain loads, chokes and the respective exit diameter but it's distasteful to just show up and call out 2 other well established companies while touting your product's  supremacy.

Your post could've been constructive but its content, construction and tone clearly reveal its intentions.

If some of you would like to take a look at the  "thou shall" post is specifically says that any company has the right to make anything they deem fit , --  the site is at full usage for companies to share information and show products , its not some piece of property like a corner on a freeway off ramp that hobo's fight for control of - I am observing behavior where folks are attempting to run of a potential sales rival with BS , do not even try it - I got 100 callmakers that get along in harmony -

I missed the festivities with respect to last year's thread. Thus, I can't say one way or the other as to whether the folks at Jeb's are antisocial. However, I noted their major accomplishment in the competitive arena as well as several posts as to their superior machining.

For awhile, I've been running Hevi-Shot "Old Whites" #6s out of a couple of guns. Most recently, it's been a Benelli Vinci with an Aimpoint T1 Micro. My choke of choice with the Vinci has been a Rhino .660".  In short, it'll throw 100 in the 10" ring well beyond what this site prefers we discuss. Regrettably, my stash of that load is now less than 30 rounds.

Last summer, I started tinkering around with the current Hevi-13 3", 2oz., #7 load in search of the replacement to my "Old White" stash. In the thin summer air, the Rhino choke drove an average of 280 pellets in the 10" ring at 40yd. I even have a few targets with 300+. While those are great numbers, I wasn't really pleased with patterns beyond 10". In a certain sense, it seemed like a waste -- more than needed in the 10" and spotty in the 15" and, certainly, the 20" ring.

So, I tried slightly more open chokes from the usual suspects. I was reasonably satisfied with the results, but not dazzled. I decided to try Jeb's on a bit of a whim. It seems they are more focused on really tight chokes, but I wanted something looser. I ordered a .670" to try.

The .670" throws the most even 15" patterns that I could imagine. My numbers at 40yd in the 10" ring dropped to roughly 200, but the there's another 150-160 or so nicely distributed in the 15" ring. It's quite forgiving at closer ranges too. In short, this choke and load afford the ideal pattern density and width to 50yd. I figure Hevi-13 #7s are maxed at around 50yd anyway. Thus, I don't mind giving up some pellets in the 10" at 40yd.

Could I've obtained the same results with a different, cheaper choke? Probably so. Given the costs of Hevi-13 or any other HTL load though, I can't see getting too worked-up over the cost differential between a Jeb's and the other chokes mentioned in this thread. It's only 10-15 rounds depending on the choke. Moreover, it's indeed the best machined choke I've ever seen, if that means anything.

Certainly, the "worth" or "value" of something is calculated individually based on our unique wants an needs. Even so, I can't imagine the main purchase driver is "cheap price" for members of this site who, on average, aren't casual turkey hunters. In the end, I feel like a got a great deal given the performance obtained. Clearly, YMMV. Additionally, for the record, I'm a user and fan of Rhino as mentioned as well as a Rob Roberts choke for my 20ga turkey rig.

I trust what you have said but you always need to remember that things read on the internet can be taken out of context.  I do not believe you meant harm and you even apologized and for that I applaud you.  Just remember to rethink what you type and then reread it and then do it again. It is especially fishy when it is a person coming on here with a low post count calling out brands that have made their names here on the forum and in the turkey hunting woods.  Glad the choke worked for you and to better get your point across just post numbers and the pictures of patterns in the patterning section (there you go Bird  ).
