Mag Blend 5x6x7 vs Nitro 4x5x7

Has anyone done a side by side comparison of these 2 loads? I did a search but came up with zero. I used to shoot the nitro's out of my old 835 but have no experience with the blends.

Never compared them myself but after viewing the patterns on here the Nirtos seem to pattern better on average. I believe someone on here once opened a Nitro Company 4x5x7 and had shot sizes ranging from 2-9.

I recently shot the two side by side in my 1187 w/ IC .665 3.5in. I averaged about 208 on Mag Blends and 258 on Nitros in 10in circle @ 40yds. I have been a Mag Blend user for years but have switched to Nitros. Ultimately plan to reload my own w/ TSS. Hope this helps.

Have killed birds and patterned both of those shells and the Nitro will win hands down every time!

I have settled on the H510C 3 1/2 inch shell as my best combo out of a 870 supermag with a Indian Creek choke.

The Nitro's are loaded with alot more smaller shot.

I perfer the magblends over the pixie dust in the nitro ammo

I shoot as SX3 12 ga. I prefer the Pure Gold choke and Mag Blends over the Nitros. I have also tried the Nitros with the Rhino chokes.
