Best lead 20ga Shell?

I have decided to stray from the hevi shot crowd and totally come back to lead. However i have never hunted with a 20ga before, but i bought one for my wife to use for turkey this season. What is everyone's favorite lead 20ga shell for turkey. Just so ya'll know it is a Rem 870 with a 26" barrel and i have the newer Rem super full choke for hevi shot stuffed in it right now. I am open to any suggestions.

I have the same exact gun and remington nitro mag 5's through an undertaker .575 patterned better than the winchester supreme 5's. i wouldnt be afraid to shoot one out to 35 yards with them. The remington super full choke i bought from midwest gun works will not thread into my gun so I couldn't try it. I don't understand it but it will not go into the barrel, about 2 threads is it.

The first two boxes that I would buy in lead is the Federal 3-1 5/16-#6 and same shell in #5s with the flite control wad; third is the Winchester 3-1 1/4-#6. You cannot buy Win in #6 in the box of 10 so it forces you to get a box of 25.Fourth choice is the Remington Nitro Mag #6s again in a 25 round box.

I have seen very nice 30 yard patterns from a 870 youth 21" bbl ,Truglo GSE,.565, and #5 shot from Winchester. You really just have to try them out.

At 30 yards using the Federal FC #6 and the Rem SF you should get a suitable pattern however.
