Hevi prices go up today!!!

Well folks the metals market says so. I literally watched my local GS mark up all of their hevi shot products by 10-12 dollars a box. 20ga 3 inch 7's went from 11.89 to 19.99 a box, you can only guess how much the 3 and 3 1/2's went up. I for one am done with the whole hevi shot and high price garbage.

If they were selling HS for less than 12/box I wish I would have known, cause I would have bought it by the pallet load.  20/box is more inline with every other store.

Yeah, those boxes of 20 ga 3 inch shells for 11.89 was sweet while it lasted. But you'd choke if you seen what they are all marked up to now.

Ordered 5 more boxes of 20 ga Fed Hvy #7's to go with what I have. All of my paper shooting will be with lead to check POI. The good stuff will be for birds only from now on.

Looked a couple days later at the same site, same exact load, and the price went to 28.99?

I bought them from a couple of places. Most were bought in late 2010 or early 2011. You won't find that lot anymore unless some mom & pop sporting goods store has some collecting dust.
