Does anyone know where I can get aluminum in square or rectangular pieces?

I used to get scraps from Frazier Welding and Steel in Knoxville (524.3011).  They've done work for me on duck boats and would let me pick through the aluminium bin for scrap for trolling motor mounts, etc.  That was in the kinder/gentler days and I would suggest you go by and see one of the shop foreman, rather than call.

Talk to your local vocational center, if they have a machine shop, and see where they get thiers. Maybe they can get you some at a school price.
