hello! or should I say Gobble-Gobble

Hello. It is almost my favorite time of the year!! The time of year when I begin to obsess like a madman, dream of gobbling toms, look down the barrel in my dreams of a strutting bird just when the alarm goes off and it is time to get up and go to work.

I'm new to the site. Began chasing longbeards 20+ years ago in south central Alabama, but I live in Chattanooga, Tennessee now. Ground is a little steeper here and sometimes the terrain a little rougher, but they still gobble like turkeys, strut like turkeys, and more often than not, humble me like they always have.

I look forward to reading here, sharing stories about this incredible creature that gets in our bones and drives os mad each spring.
