anybody ever pattern a pheasant load, i drug some old remington nitro number 6's out today they were 2 3/4 ''  1 1/4 oz  and suprizingly got 136 in 10 at 3o yards now i dont know if the 1 1/4 oz shot has a nuff in its butt to kill a bird,,,,,

they have plenty of power to kill at 30-40yds
