Ok folks ask about this gun.   Tim Sanford from rut-n-strut game calls sent his in to test. So big thanks to him.   First test was 278 with it in a 10 with hv-13 31/2-7.

Hands down I think it is a better gun then the M-2000.

It was a 26 inch.   We thinking about doing forcing co.e bit it on that fine line of trying much with it.

Doesn't the M3500 have a chrome lined barrel?

So when you extend the forcing cone it doesn't get into the chrome lined barrel? Just curious.

i asked this same question because i was once told you could not do it to them. After talking with Rob Roberts, yes you can do it and they have been doing it for a long time with no issues.

It can be did. We have did it to a few of the pumps and SBE.   It will get into to bore of the barrel.    Now we go 21/2 or 5 inches  with that.  Like this one don't kick as bad as the m2000 so not a big deal.   It is on that fine line of will you pick up that much by doing it.    I not pull someone's chain to just make money.  I would not touch this one if it was me.  I will post updates after Tim figures if we going to do it.

My thoughts are Risk vs Benefit.  Is it worth the risk of ruining a barrel for something that may not even improve the pattern or operation of the shotgun? My personal opinion is no its not worth it.
