Where are each of you guys from and how is the hunting in your neck of the woods?

I'm from SW Georgia near Thomasville and although there is not much public land nearby, I am fortunate to have access to some excellent private turkeys.  I still try to hunt public a couple times a year although sometimes just calling for others who don't have other places to hunt.

Tn here. Not a whole lot of public land but I have a lease and access to a few private lands. Might try to hunt public land this year just bc I have never hunted public land for thunder chickens.

I am from west central WI. We have very little public land around here. I have access to a couple small track of private land but on top of very little public land we are a little short on birds in the area where I live. I will be hunting the last week in April and I am hoping to pick up a left over tag for the area where I grew to the east. There is a ton of public land over there and lots of bird.

I am about three hours North and a bit east of La Farge in Colfax. That bluff country down there houses a lot of birds from what I hear

West Kentucky is where i call home...i lease a few farms , hunt public ground in KY. and TN. this year i will also be going to WestTexas to finish my first slam. Everywhere i hunt is slam pack loaded with turkey's. i am truely blessed!

I am from Tn also. I have some pretty good public land in middle TN, and some ok private land. But truth be known the public land holds more turkeys than the private.

Im also from TN i dont have any leases all i have is public land to hunt but theres plenty of birds where i do hunt so its really not that bad.

I live in NE Kansas, just east of Lawrence.  Lot of turkeys throughout the state, mostly hunt private, might hit a few public if the need arises.  Private land can be hard to get permission on, there is a lot of pressure or it is leased, have a friend with a 12,000 acre ranch in SW Kansas to hunt, many years it has been a lifesaver.  Love chasing the Rio's in open country. Usually shoot an eastern and a Rio each year.
