I was having a good day......

I was having a good day today. Got up ate some breakfast and then got out some guns and got to go shoot some lead.
I took the AR15 in 5.56 to sight in the scope I just put on it and then brought the long gun an 11-87 with a 28" barrel and newly installed Shur shot stock and Centerpoint red dot sight. I started off buy sighting in the AR and that went fine  was a pleasure to shoot and see the bullets get in the x ring. Played with that for a bit then got out the long gun. Put up a board with a target and started off at 25 yds with the 2 3/4" shells for fun. I had a little issue getting the red dot where I wanted it because when the put the markings on the adjusters they must have been upside down and backwards. I finally got it semi sighted and then went to 40 yds and tried some more. I adjusted it some more and got it closer then started to use the Hevi shot. I shot about four rounds and could see it almost on target but it was getting late and I had to take my girls to Sonics so they could get there treats for getting good grades in school.
I left the shooting range and took the girls out to have their fun. I got them their treats and then we went to the park for some fun time. I was still having an excellent day and came home and made some gumbo so that I could sit and watch the NFC championship game.

It was all going great until Williams decided that things were going to well and he needed to give the Giants a hand and mess up a punt return and then if that was not enough he decided to help them some more and get stripped on a punt return in OT so the Giants could get a easy 3 points.
At this point I wish it was still light outside so I could go shoot some more and at least get a good ending to the day. Oh well that is how life goes but at least next year my expectations can be higher because we have a good coach and a great core of players coming back. Hope everyone elses day was pretty good as well.

I had a good day
I am healthy, I have a great wife, got to teach Sunday School, got some more youth coming to our youth group.
I am not hungry, I am warm, and have a good job.
Yep, life is good.

I am pretty stoked that we went from a bottom feeding team to a NFC champioinship team in one year with just a coaching change. It was a great game the Giants justplayed better than we did. Oh well there is always next year.

Back in the day I was a huge 9'ers fan. I loved it when they had Young and Rice.
I was glad to see them having a good team this year and hope they can build off of that.
I hope the Giants win it all.
