Yep...pheasant..some of the biggest spurs i've ever seen on a rooster.  Super long tail and a bunch of yellow corn fat on his breast!!

I have never ate pheasant

Most of the pheasant I shot this year had some nice hooks. And that was because there wasn't that many young broods that made it to maturity this year just old birds from last year meaning big hooks.
