Am I the first Head Hunter back on-line?

This is my first turkey, shot two seasons ago in Edgecombe County NC.
"I admire a good turkey hunter chiefly because such a man displays qualities that we usually associate with pioneer America-patience, enthusiasm, woodcraft, game sense, and a quiet hardihood undaunted by rain, by cold, by long tough miles, by disappointment."

Glad to see you back - I sure hope we don't lose anybody due to the outage.

My new JH choke should be here today.  I also bought a couple of different shells yesterday along with ordering a few boxes of Hevi-shot.  I gotta get out on the range and get my gun ready to go.

Unfortunately I will be having left shoulder surgery next week.  I dislocated in back in 2007 and I've been having problems with it.  Now that deer season and duck season are over I'm ready to get it fixed so I can be as close to 100% as possible for turkeys in April.  I know I'll still have some soreness but I'll just have to deal with it.

Good luck with the surgery.  Hopefully it doesn't sideline you for too long.  Also good luck with the new choke.  Its a lot of trial and error trying to find the right combo.  Hopefully it will go well for you.  What kind of gun are you using again?

Mossy 835.  I've got 3 different shell types and 2 chokes so hopefully I can get it hitting where I feel comfortable with it.  I don't know how much shooting I'll be able to do once I have the surgery...probably not much
