Seems like Santa is going to bring me a new pair of leather pull on work boots for Christmas. I cant decide between the Ariat and Justin brands. So I'm gonna seek out a few more opinions to help me decide. Tell me what you'd suggest and,  the likes and dislikes about each brand. Also, is there a particular model or style that you prefer. Santa said not to worry about the price, I've been a real good boy this year. ;D

HARDCORE

Ive had both of the boots you mentioned and many others, Ariat and Redwing had been my favorite, that is until I tried Double H boots.

I now own 3 different pair, by far the best pull on boot Ive ever owned.

My two favorites are Rocky and Georgia.  The Rocky's require a little  break in time, but are comfortable and last a long time.  The Georgia's are comfortable out of the box.  They wear a little faster, but are the most comfortable work boots I've worn, and mine are subjected to a daily dose of petroleum products.

A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands, love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper; his hands remember the rifle.

I am a big fan of Redwing boots. They are comfortable out of the box and last a long time. Pricey, but worth it.

Georgia boot is by far the most comfortable boot i have ever wore but they didnt last long.I also like doc martins

Reloader

I've run Justin, Redwing, and Wolverine.  They are about the same IMO, but I like the Wolverine the best.  Not the Durashock, the soles are crap on the Durashocks IMO.  I've had two pairs of DSs and the soles crumbled to pieces at a young age on both.  The non-DS soles seem to hang in there well.

I'm definitely a big red wing fan. They break in quick and as long as you oil them once in while they'll last a good while.

Georgia is what I wear every day. Wish I could find another pair just like the ones I'm wearing. These are wore out. Best boot I have ever owned.

I have a pair of boots that I wear at least once each week for hard work around the property and have since 2001. They were made by Nike and are frankly the best I've ever worn. They are pretty beaten-up, as you'd imagine with that much wear but the soles are still good and they are as comfortable as they were the first time I put them on. Of course, that style is no longer made!

A few months ago, I started wearing a pair of Danner Descender Uniform boots and these will probably replace the Nikes when they finally go. They are very well made, comfortable and as far as I can determine very durable. I could not find a better pair anywhere.

Thanks,
Clark

The best set of boots I have is my duty boots made by Bates.  Light weight, feels like your wearing a shoe, and very comfortable. They are not fully leather but I love mine.

Redwings last for as long as you want them to. And if you want when you finally wear out your soles they re sole for 75$. There vibram sole lasted so long I had to throw the boots out because of smell before they were totally worn out.
