I hunt an area in PA where I have yet to kill a gobbler with sharp spurs. It is state forest and really steep and alot of places extremely rocky. The gobblers i've killed have had 8'' to 10'' beards and have weighed around 20 pounds on average but all have had around 1'' dull spurs. My thinking is they wear there spurs off on the rocks and I probably will never kill one with sharp spurs in this area. I just wondered what other people thought about it.
