IL. fall hunt (100th) turkey

Fall gun season opened up sat. in IL. I bowhunted fri. to try to fill my 2nd archery turkey tag and scout for sat.I called in a flock fri. but couldn't get an arrow to them.I did roost birds for sat.Game on.I put my buddy in the hot spot and I hung back.He had one drop in at 15 yds.and was done.We moved around on them but they gave us the slip. The afternoon was slow but we did roost birds for another buddy.So I go into my easy archery spot sun.and called up a flock.I droped the first hen in and was done.That hen was my 100th turkey with bow/gun. 77 with bow and 23 with gun.That afternoon I moved in on a flock and hit a small limb while trying to arrow a bird in a flock that I called in in the afternoon. Can't wait to get after 'em this weekend.

I still use film in my camera ,so I will ost all fall / winter ics at the end of the season.I still have NE.and KS. to hunt yet.

I find it a challenge to kill them with a scatter gun. I could only imagine how chalenging harvwsting 77 with a bow would be. Congratulations!
