Yahoo now tracking user location on comments

For those who post comments on Yahoo, they now have an option that identifies the location (City) of the poster.  This may be no big deal, but it sure seems like "big brother" to me.  Upon first post with this option, you can choose for your location to not be posted.  As I understand, if you allow it to be posted, you can't "unselect" this option.
